Christmas 2007

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

B was very excited to help mommy this year with
the decorating of the Christmas Tree. He was a
"big help!" Actually we got all the ornaments on
without breaking any! (That is why you get the
non-breakable kind!)

This is what our tree looked like on Christmas morning.
Santa must of been very busy wrapping all the presents this year.
He does not usually wrap them all but B sure enjoyed opening all of
his presents and some of A's. He was very excited that he got his
own box of cereal! He was also very excited about the new "jammies."
He got some books and some clothes for church. His stocking was
full of some of the traditional Santa stocking stuffers such as
toothpaste, toothbrush, candy and of course an orange
in the toe! A got baby food in his stocking and some link toys.
Santa sure was good to us this year. We all got jammies and new clothes.
We got a darling new book called "Santa's First Flight"
by Sam Beeson (he is from Orem and teaches at AF High--nice guy!)
S got a new mini vacumn and a car charger for her phone.
T got a few movies and some new shirts for work.

B's all time favorite presents were his new tent

and some Cars underwear (both pictured --we
did not help him with the underwear, he did it all
on his own so of course we could not resist a photo
opportunity.)

A just enjoyed eating all the paper
and bows. He was really upset when
we tried to take them away.

Grandma and Grandpa B came over for breakfast and
this is what the table looked like before we ate.
We had a sausage and egg casserole, blueberry muffins,
fruit (apples, oranges, bananas, and canteloupe),
OJ and Chocolate milk. It was all very delicious and it
was really fun to have Grandma and Grandpa come.

Santa Claus

On December 7, 2007 we had a visit from someone special. Santa Claus came to our house to visit! B was not too sure about it until A sat on his lap. T has a good friend who plays Santa and he had just finished up somewhere and called to see if he could come see us. B was really happy about his the sucker that Santa gave him.

First Snow Day!

It snowed a little bit yesterday so we took advantage of it and made a snowman, snow angel, and took a ride in a make shift sled. This is the first time he is old enough to play in the snow and so we got him all bundled up and went outside.

There really wasn't that much snow so our snow girl was built on part of the barbeque grill. She is only about 9 inches tall and B requested a girl snowman so she has a flower in her hair.

I just had to show him how to make a snow angel, he did not enjoy that too much.

B really enjoyed it and most of all he enjoyed eating the snow.
We sure had fun!

B had major hat hair when we went inside.

Halloween

Here are a few pictures from Halloween. B was a dinosaur and A was a lion. They are so cute! B had a really hard time with his costume because he had to sit on the tail and I'm sure it was uncomfortable. A just wanted to eat the mittens from his costume. We had a great day though.

Our first blog

It is so much fun reading all of the other blogs out there, so we decided to post one of our own. Here is a little information just to update you all on what is happening in our house.

T, (the daddy), just accepted a job in Cache county as the Extension Agent. This means only one thing for now...we have to move to Cache county. We are not in any big hurry so we are taking our time on selling our house. T should finish his Masters Degree in a few months and then we can get back to a normal life (ha ha)

S, (the mommy), is still teaching first grade. I have a great class this year so it makes my job more enjoyable.

B, (Bubba as his mother calls him), is growing and learning every day. He is now just over two years old and he definitely keeps us on our toes. He is always talking and constantly wants to help. Just this morning he was "helping" with the laundry and got a hold of the Spray n' Wash. Before I knew he had sprayed it all over his bed and pillows
and of course he was drenched in it himself. (Bath #1) Not much later, he wanted to help make birthday pancakes for daddy and again before we knew it, there was pancake mix all over the kitchen and himself. (Bath #2) We had just managed to get him all cleaned up when somehow he got some really stinky brown substance (you can only imagine what it was) all over his legs. (Bath #3) Within seconds of finishing bath #3, it was lotion all over. This all happened within one hour. We love him and are grateful for all he brings into our home (even if at times it is very frustrating.) Some of his favorite phrases are: "Oh, man!", "Noooooooooo!", "baby sleeping", and "help mama." He can already count to ten without help from anyone and he loves singing songs at bedtime. His favorite is Baby Beluga. He loves his baby brother and is very protective of him.

A, (pumpkin, chubbers, chunky monkey, again names given by his mother), is a joy. He is always such a happy baby. He
spends his time cooing, smiling and even laughing. His favorite person to laugh at is B but he will give a smile to anyone who pays attention to him. He loves to be outside and so we are trying to take advantage of the last semi warm days left this year.

That is a little about us and we hope to keep this page updated. Let us know what you think.
