BENJAMIN IS POTTY TRAINED!!!
He has not had an accident for a week and a half. He sleeps in big boy underwear and wakes up dry! If asked, "Do you want to wear a diaper?" He responds quickly, "No, Diapers are for BABIES!"
Thanks to Kim, the babysitter for helping us get it done. She taught him to "tuck his pee-pee so that it doesn't spray out" and to "shake it when you're done." (these are phrases that Benjamin has reminded me to do several times when I am going potty.)
He is really good to tell me when he needs to go and sometimes he even goes in the bathroom and gets it done on his own. He even washes his hands when he is done...sometimes I wonder if he just like to play with the water and soap in the sink.
I am sure we will have accidents sometimes but for the most part it is official!
The most exciting part is now I only have one kid in diapers!

Wa-hoo! That is awesome. He is soo dang cute. Good for him...and good for you!
That's great!! Way to go Benjamin!!!
Congrats! That's awesome! For some reason I can't get the image of you "shaking it" when you're done out of my head! Too funny!
Who cares if he is playing in the water if it means he has clean hands?
Congrats on a potty trained sweetheart!!!
I'm officially not talking to you. Cougar just smeared his own poop all over the exterior of our house. I'm thinking "Hey, at least it's on the outside" (Mark and I have an agreement. Outside chores are his responsiblity.) I'm just kidding. I'll talk to you! Congratulations on getting him potty trained. We'll have to have him show off his new trick to Cougar next time we get together. Maybe something will rub off.
Woohoo! What are you going to do with all that extra money!? That is awesome!
Shannon! It's been way too long! Are you ever in Sandy or Salt Lake? We should go to lunch or something. I bet Staci would come too!
Hey! How are you? We are living in Maryland while Kyle's at dental school. He has a year and a half left. I've loved it. You're kids are adorable. It's good to hear from you. And congrats on your boy being potty trained. I'm not really looking forward to that.
Hey, I am jealous. Ive been thinking a lot about potty training Alyssa. Not yet, but I am dreading it!!
Yeah!!! It's so nice to accomplish that phase, it can be so frustrating.
WOOT! That is awesome Shannon! I love the budget relief that is potty training. Only 13 months to go for us!
